Xinjiang Dabancheng Wind Farm Phase I Project
Xinjiang Dabancheng Wind Farm Phase I Project (hereafter refers to the proposed project) is to utilize wind resources for electricity generation through the construction of a wind farm with a total capacity of 49.5MW and an 110kV transmission station in Dabancheng District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, P. R. China. The proposed project involves the installation of 33 wind turbines with capacities of 1,500kW each, which amount to a total installed capacity of 49.5MW. The electricity generated from the project will be supplied to the Northwest China Power Grid (NWCPG). The estimated annual net electricity output and annual emission reductions of the proposed project are 129,195 MWh and 99,144 tCO2e in the second crediting period (01/08/2019~31/07/2026), respectively. The proposed project is a grid-connected renewable energy project. The Project commenced construction on 20/07/2011. The first turbine was commissioned on 20/07/2012, and all the 33 wind turbines were put into continued operation on 07/08/2012. The expected technical lifetime of the Project is 20 years as stated in the registered PDD. This Monitoring Report is for the fourth monitoring period, which is from 01/08/2019 to 31/12/2020 belonged to the second crediting period. The total emission reduction achieved in this monitoring period is 121,452 tCO2e.
